I LOVE REFERENCES!

I have often used my son Brodie for reference. He posed as my Tin Woodman and my beloved Scarecrow. The Scarecrow's outfit was a lot of fun to put together, and I really appreciated his personal touch with the checkered socks. A friend's daughter, Aspen, posed for my Dorothy. I bought her a dress and provided her with a check and an artist release form.
Because Aspen is a minor, her dad was with us during the process.
